If school is cancelled because of severe weather or wind chill, busses may be used to transport students to extra curricular activities under the following conditions:
- The weather has improved to the point that travel is safe
- The temperature has improved to the point that it is warmer than -40 wind chill.
- Road conditions are safe for travel.
- The transportation coordinator, principal, and bus driver all agree that it is safe to travel.
If the decision is made that no bussing is provided, the students will not participate. Private vehicles will not be used.
If, during the course of a trip, the bus driver and/or the supervising teacher do not feel that it is safe to continue the trip because of bad weather or driving conditions they have the right to terminate the trip.
