The Border Land School Division shall carry $2,000,000 third party liability insurance coverage for all its vehicles through Manitoba Public Insurance (Autopac).
  Through it participation in the Manitoba Schools Insurance (MSI) program, operated by the Manitoba Association of School Trustees (MAST), the Division shall secure additional coverage for transportation liability for the vehicles it owns, such that the total limit of liability insurance carried is $30,000,000 per occurrence.

 

The Division shall also carry $30,000,000 non-owned automobile liability insurance providing protection for the Division for the use or operation of vehicles not owned by the Division, but operated for or on behalf of the division.

 

The Division shall also carry “Special” non-owned automobile liability insurance, for a combined limit of $30,000,000 in combination with the person’s own Autopac coverage for the protection of persons using their own vehicles for the transportation of Division students on behalf of the Division, under authority of the Division.  This coverage shall not include use of vehicles for regular transport back and forth to school.
