Schools can be in situations where private donors or businesses approach them and offer financial support to purchase equipment.  In situations where this occurs, the school will contact the Superintendent for approval, prior to accepting the donation.  The donor will be acknowledged in a way that is best suited to the school.

Border Land School Division acknowledges that the communities and schools located within Border Land School Division sit on Treaty 1 and Treaty 3 land, the original lands of the Anishinaabe peoples and on the homeland of the Métis Nation.
