Management

The management of buildings and grounds will be a cooperative effort of the school principal and Maintenance Coordinator.

Security

The principal of the school is responsible for establishing, with the Maintenance Coordinator, the necessary procedures to secure the buildings and grounds against damage, incidental misuse, and willful criminal acts and taking the necessary steps to implement these procedures.

Each school principal is expected to establish and maintain, in co-operation with the Maintenance Coordinator, a security plan for the school.  Fire alarm systems will be installed in the buildings according to code requirements and, in addition, as deemed necessary by the principal and senior divisional administration.

As fire and security systems are part of the premises, the principal is responsible for inspecting them and reporting any malfunctions to the Maintenance Coordinator
