Particulars:

The successful candidate will retain an Educational Assistant position working 6 EA & lunch duty hours at Shevchenko School.  Shevchenko is a K-12 school with 330 students, located in Vita, Manitoba.  This position will commence as soon as possible.  We are looking for individuals with the ability to work well under direction and as members of a team.  A passion for working with students with special needs, which may include learning disabilities, behavioral, emotional and/or medical concerns, is essential for these positions.  


Qualifications and Experience:

  1.   High School Diploma
  2.   Experience working with children
  3.   Educational Assistant Certificate is considered an asset (but not essential)


Salary and Benefits:

The compensation package for these positions is in accordance with the Border Land School Division Support Staff Compensation Agreement and the Agreement between Border Land School Division and Educational Assistants.
