At the end of November, students at Parkside, participated in a presentation and farm simulation game with a presenter from Manitoba Agriculture in the Classroom, called Journey 2050.  The simulation game allowed students to pursue and attempt to answer the question:  How can we sustain-ably feed nearly 10 billion people by 2050?

The game puts students in the decision making seat as they explore world food sustainability, allowing them to see the impact of their decisions on society, the environment, and the economy on both local and global scales.
