Particulars:
The successful candidate will retain a 1.0 FTE (100%) permanent teaching position at Shevchenko School. This teaching position is approximately 50% K-6 guidance counsellor and learning support teacher, and 50% grade 2/3 classroom teacher. Shevchenko is a Kindergarten-Grade 12 school with about 320 students located in Vita, Manitoba. This permanent teaching position will commence September 3, 2024. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: K-6 Learning Support/Guidance, Kindergarten Smart Start, Grade 2/3 Math, Science, Social Studies and Health. The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff and students is essential.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
- Preference will be given to a teacher with related teaching experience
Salary and Benefits:
The compensation package for this position is in accordance with the collective agreement between Border Land School Division and the Border Land Teachers’ Association of the Manitoba Teachers’ Society.
