Particulars:
The successful candidate will retain a 0.85 FTE (85%) term position as a Grade 6 Classroom Teacher at École West Park School, with the potential for a FTE increase throughout the term duration. École West Park is a Grade 4 – 6 school with 220 students located in Altona, Manitoba. This term position will commence November 14, 2025 and conclude June 30, 2026, with the possibility of an extension into the 26/27 school year. Background and experience in teaching middle years is considered an asset for this position. We are looking for candidates who can work as an effective team member and has the ability to connect with diverse groups of students. In addition, preference will be given to candidates who are self-motivated and are willing to learn and implement best teaching practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
- Preference will be given to a teacher with related teaching experience
Salary and Benefits:
The compensation package for this position is in accordance with the 2022-2026 Provincial Teachers’ Collective Agreement between Manitoba School Boards Association and Manitoba Teachers’ Society.
