Particulars:

The successful candidate will retain a 1.0 FTE (100%) term position teaching in a Grade 7/8 classroom at École Parkside School.  Parkside is a grade 7-8 junior high school with 160 students located in Altona, Manitoba.  This term position will commence September 3, 2024 and conclude June 27, 2025.  We are looking for candidates who will demonstrate the ability to foster an inclusive classroom that meets the needs of a wide variety of learners through adaptations, modifications, and extended learning opportunities.  Candidates should have knowledge of current educational trends and student-centered learning approaches along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Qualifications and Experience:

  1.  Must hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
  2.  Experience in Middle Years is considered an asset
  3.  Preference will be given to a teacher with related teaching experience


Salary and Benefits:

The compensation package for this position is in accordance with the collective agreement between Border Land School Division and the Border Land Teachers’ Association of the Manitoba Teachers’ Society.
