RVS CRAM Breakfast Program

In February of 2008, Roseau Valley School began serving students food from 8:30 to 8:55 am to meet their nutritional needs. The funding for this program is provided by the Child Nutrition Council of Manitoba, which runs the CRAM program. (http://childnutritioncouncil.com/)  Breakfast for Learning

Food provided includes oranges, apples, kiwi, carrots, cheese, eggs, juice boxes, banana bread and some special items that come in week by week. 

The Calderwoods at DC FoodTown have been an amazing help in supplying and preparing the pickup of the food for us.  


A special thank you goes out to Dennis and Willie Hopkins
for their generous donation of $1000. to be used in the RVS Breakfast Program.

Recent donations to the breakfast program at RVS have been made by:
Healthy Community Conference committee – fruit, cheese and crackers
Dominion City Ladies – muffins
Crikside Farms and Dairy Producers – yogurt


Several people from our community have donated food to the program as well:

Students and staff play a key role in making this program happen.  They include:
